Oloo Green pigment can separated into more colors with levigation: a light brownish green, a darker green, and a chalky green. The color is subtle and transparent. Do not expect a rich, leafy green!

The colors range from the umber Tuk Catan to the warm gray Anthill Gray. The colors from the anthills are the earth dug by the ants and brought outside, so they are generally quite fine.

The King James school is in Sharon’s neighborhood, and they cook for many students. Sharon scrapes soot from their school cooking pots to make this warm black pigment.

The color is a traditional clay color of the place and everyone thinks that’s the look of the red, so we called it “Oloo Red” at first.
